My Response to President Obama's State of The Union.

Hey guys! The State of The Union adress just finished up, and you may have been keeping up with my live blog on this website and on my twitter page. So I am going to give my response to the adress tonight. To begin with I was impressed with the bipartisanship between the Democrats and Republicans and the seating. Now to the speech, in my opinion one word explains it, flat. The speech had nothing special to it and I felt like many things were not said. I was especially upset about the lack of addressing the debt problem. As you know from my show the national debt is a huge part of my show, and I was very disappointed with that. Now that I have said this, I thought that the overall speech was also fairly bland. The whole adress just seemed flat and frankly in the words of John King "boring". The beginning of the adress was strong, but it was fairly downhill from there. The Republican Response(s) will be coming up soon, and I will be watching that closely. I will have more on my next show which will be live this Monday. Thanks!

2011 Update

Hi!

Happy 2011! Hope it will be good for all of you! I am returning from my vacation and will resume blogging immediately and resume my radio show with in the next few weeks! Because it is a new year I wanted to update you guys on the shows progress as well as the blogs progress. First the show, since I started the show in the late 2009-2010 area I have made great progress. To begin my show has had great guests who have influenced modern politics in MA; Charlie Baker and Holly Robichaud (twice) were kind enough to join me in 2010 to discuss local and national politics. The show being only about one year old has been downloaded and subscribed to on iTunes hundreds of times and has been listend to on my show page has to this day 3,553 listens (does not include the same people twice) and 1,216 average listeners. I have also been featured in the newspaper for the show which you can see in the press section of this website. It is hard to believe that it has come this far. The second thing I wanted to update you guys on is the website right here. The website is a great way for me to connect with me and the show. In only less than two months of making this site, it has already just under 300 interactions. Thats not views, but people who actually have used the site to read and access the show. I am pretty happy with that number and hope that it continues to grow. Thank you and keep checking back here for more updates! Have a great 2011!

Weather---Show Cancellation

Due to the weather I will be unable to broadcast the show tonight. This is our last show before the holiday break, so I would like to take a minute to say a few thank you's. First, I would like to thank all of you for supporting my show! You guys are the best! Next, I would like to thank all of our soldiers over seas a happy holidays, and thank them so much for fighting for our freedom overseas. Also, I would like to thank their families for being strong and raising these great men and women. TAX CUT BILL PASSED

The US Senate has passed the tax bill meaning that all the current tax rates will continue. Although I support the tax cuts, in the long run I don't think we will be able to keep these low tax rates for much longer. I think both parties goal right now should be to lower the national debt which continues to deepen everyday. If this debt gets any worse I don’t know how we will ever be able to recover from it. The debt is currently at $13,855,771,381,214.59 and keeps going up every second. With a debt of this size I think that we all need to get serious about fixing this issue. If you look at my previous post you will see all of the pork on the last bill. All these projects are ridiculous and to say the least unnecessary.
